ActiGraft is an advanced biologic wound care treatment designed to support the management of chronic and hard-to-heal wounds by recreating the body’s natural healing environment.
Unlike traditional wound dressings, ActiGraft enables clinicians to create an external blood clot in real time, using the patient’s own whole blood. This clot is then applied directly to the wound, acting as a protective covering and biologic scaffold that supports the body’s natural healing processes.
By introducing a fresh blood clot to the wound surface, ActiGraft helps the body respond as if the wound were new, re-initiating the healing cascade that is often stalled in chronic wounds.
Product Overview
Unlike traditional implants, Shark Screw® maintains intact Haversian and Volkmann canals - the micro-channels essential for revascularisation and bone cell migration. This architecture supports osteoconduction and enables the screw to become part of the patient’s native bone through natural bone-remodelling processes. The result is stable fixation with reduced long-term complications and fewer repeat interventions.
Shark Screw® is available in multiple diameters and configurations to support a broad range of orthopaedic, trauma, hand, wrist, foot, and ankle procedures. Because it is made entirely of human donor bone, it provides a biologic alternative for fractures, osteotomies, arthrodesis, pseudarthrosis, and complex revisions where natural healing is a priority.
How ActiGraft® Works
ActiGraft allows healthcare providers to produce an in vitro blood clot at the point of care, using the patient’s own blood. This clot contains the full range of natural healing components and is applied externally over the wound.

Supports cellular activity essential to healing
Helps overcome poor or compromised blood flow within the wound bed
