Lyophilization gives the membrane excellent shelf stability while maintaining its structural integrity. When applied, XCELL AMNIO MATRIX™ absorbs moisture from the wound surface and rehydrates in place, creating a flexible and protective layer that conforms cleanly to the wound or surgical site.
